The Koaxis Mini 75 ohm SMB connector is intermateable with standard 50 ohm SMB connectors and uses the same .020 diameter center pin and body design. The 75 ohm impedence is achieved by using an air dielectric, or reduced teflon dielectric, and by reducing contact diameters where possible. The air dielectric design has become the most popular and the most cost effective version of the mini 75 ohm SMB designs and is available from many other connector manufactures.
