SMP Connectors

SMP connectors are a micro-miniature push-on or snap-on connector series with operating frequencies to 40 GHz. Corning Gilbert developed the original design, known as their GPO® connector, for the defense industry. The SMP connector series is now used in many industries and manufactured by an increasing number of companies. The SMP connector interface is a great choice for board to board and module to module applications because it allows .010 of radial and axial misalignment and because of its miniature size.

Koaxis manufactures straight and right angle SMP cable mounted female SMP connectors for 047 and 086 cable sizes. Koaxis SMP connectors are manufactured to meet the requirements of MIL-STD-348B. Our SMP connectors are made in the USA at our plant in Pennsylvania. We will supply SMP connectors to your requirements or print on semi-rigid, Conformable® (tin dipped solder braid), or flexible microwave coaxial cable. All of these connectors are typically in stock for quick shipment.
